Privacy

The Institute for Child Custody Advocacy keeps what you share with us private. Here is what we collect and why.

Forms. When you sign up for updates, contact us, or share your story, your entries are stored in the Institute’s website, email, mailing list, and spreadsheet accounts. We use them only to reply to you, send the updates you asked for, and, with your permission, share your story. We never sell them.

Your story. We publish your story or send it to your state legislators and the Attorney General’s office only if you check the matching box on the form, and we confirm with you in writing before anything is published.

The legislator lookup. Only the address you type goes to the U.S. Census Bureau to find your districts. Your name and story stay on the page. Your email to officials is sent from your own email app, and we receive a copy only if you choose to send us one.

Site visits. We use Google Analytics, which uses cookies, to count visits and how many people sign up, share a story, or open an email to their officials. It receives information such as the pages viewed, the type of device and browser, and an approximate location. It never receives your story, name, email address, or street address. Learn how Google uses this information, or turn it off with Google’s opt out tool.
